On Friday, 6 November 2015, in the morning at 9:50, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 14.05), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Citroen C4 registered in Great Britain. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
