On Monday, 9 November 2015, in the afternoon at 16:45, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street near No. 1A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Voyager, a Volvo V70, an Opel Zafira, a Volvo S80, a Mercedes-Benz 200, an Audi A6 Limousine and a Renault Master. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Chrysler (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.78‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
