On Tuesday, 2 February 2016, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 21), a Scania 93M rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Scania (42 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
