On Saturday, 20 February 2016, in the evening at 19:05, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 86), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Legacy, a Koegel SN 24 and a DAF. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Subaru (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
