On Sunday, 21 February 2016, in the evening at 17:07, in Telšių district municipality, on Saulėtekio street near No. 11, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
