On Friday, 29 July 2016, in the morning at 7:15, in Telšių district municipality, on Saulėtekio street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a BMW X3 2.0 D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
