On Thursday, 17 March 2016, in the evening at around 18:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 55.91), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Mazda Premacy and a bicycle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Mazda (37 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
