On Friday, 13 May 2016, at night at 1:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 120.60), a Mitsubishi L 200 hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
