On Tuesday, 17 May 2016, in the evening at around 20:00, in Panevėžys, on Klaipėdos street, at the junction with Nemuno street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Micra and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Nissan (6 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. Both drivers were sober.
