On Sunday, 22 May 2016, in the morning at 5:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 274.15), a DAF FT XF105.460 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the DAF (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
