On Monday, 23 May 2016, in the morning at 10:25, in Šilalės district municipality, Prapymo village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 248.80), a MAN TGA 18.400 registered in Poland ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the MAN (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
