On Thursday, 9 June 2016, in the morning at 10:45, in Kaunas, on K. Petrausko street near No. 3, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
