On Wednesday, 7 September 2016, in the afternoon at 14:18, in Vilnius, on S. Batoro street, at the junction with Rudens street, a BMW 525 D hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
