On Saturday, 10 September 2016, at night at around 1:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 83.85), a Toyota Avensis hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Toyota (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
