On Friday, 4 November 2016, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Varnių street near No. 40, a Subaru Legacy hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 18-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Subaru (29 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
