On Saturday, 3 December 2016, in the evening at 18:01, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 18.30), a Scania R420 registered in Latvia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Scania (21 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
