On Tuesday, 6 December 2016, in the evening at 18:20, in Kaunas, on Kęstučio street, at the junction with Gedimino street, a Toyota Land Cruiser Serie 120 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Toyota (44 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
