On Saturday, 21 January 2017, at night at 2:50, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 287.33), a Volvo S80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volvo (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
