On Monday, 6 March 2017, in the evening at 18:20, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiaulių aplinkkelis main road (kilometre 3.70), a Lincoln Navigator registered in Latvia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Lincoln (21 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
