On Wednesday, 30 August 2023, in the morning at 7:30, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiaulių aplinkkelis main road (kilometre 5), a MAN TGX registered in Latvia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the MAN (24 years of driving experience), who fell asleep at the wheel. The driver was sober.
