On Saturday, 25 March 2017, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 132), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D, a Krone SDR27 and a Volvo FH12.420 registered in Russia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
