On Saturday, 15 April 2017, at night at 4:53, in Vilnius, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Gerosios Vilties street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 520D and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.50‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
