On Saturday, 6 May 2017, in the morning at 10:10, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Taikos pr., a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia, a Volvo V50 and a Citroen C5. Two people were injured — a 4-year-old passenger of the Citroen (treated as an outpatient) and a 33-year-old passenger of the Citroen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Skoda (11 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober.
