On Friday, 12 May 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Jetta and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
