On Friday, 2 June 2017, in the evening at 22:10, in Jonavos district municipality, Jonalaukio village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 34.09), a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Honda VFR750 and a Volkswagen Tiguan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Honda, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
