On Saturday, 17 June 2017, in the afternoon at 14:15, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Žemaičių street, a BMW hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 65-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (16 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
