On Monday, 8 October 2018, in the evening at 20:30, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Žemaičių street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a BMW X1 Xdrive 20D and a Solaris Trollino 12. One person was injured — a 21-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (14 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
