On Sunday, 25 June 2017, in the evening at 21:12, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 20), a Toyota RAV4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Toyota (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
