On Friday, 4 August 2017, in the evening at 18:15, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 57, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, a KIA Motors ED,cee'd and a Renault Clio. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience). He was drunk (2.44‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
