On Friday, 1 September 2017, in the evening at 18:30, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, Grabučiškių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 83.95), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra, a BMW 330D and a Subaru Legacy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Seat (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
