On Friday, 22 September 2017, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Vytauto pr., at the junction with Miško street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel and a Renault Megane. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel (11 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
