On Friday, 16 June 2023, in the evening at 17:20, in Kaunas, on Vytauto pr., at the junction with Miško street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot Partner and a Solaris Trollino 12. Two people were injured — a 23-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient) and a 59-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Peugeot (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
