On Saturday, 7 October 2017, at night at 23:55, in Kaunas, on Žemaičių pl., at the junction with Baltijos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Volkswagen Touran. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.14‰ blood alcohol).
