On Saturday, 18 November 2017, in the evening at 22:39, in Biržų district municipality, on the Biržai–Raubonys national road (kilometre 5.60), an Audi 100 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Audi (32 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.80‰ blood alcohol).
