On Monday, 27 November 2017, in the morning at 9:54, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 10.72), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober.
