On Monday, 27 November 2017, in the afternoon at 16:55, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 172.05), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Alfa Romeo 159 and a Skoda Superb. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.27‰ blood alcohol).
