On Tuesday, 9 January 2018, in the evening at 17:15, in Šiauliai, on P. Višinskio street, at the junction with Vytauto street, a Porsche Cayenne hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 7-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Porsche (10 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He was drunk (0.07‰ blood alcohol).
