On Tuesday, 23 January 2018, in the morning at 6:45, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Joniškis–Žeimelis–Pasvalys national road, on a bridge, an Opel Zafira ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
