On Friday, 16 April 2021, in the afternoon at 11:28, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Joniškis–Žeimelis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 63.70), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a MTZ Belarus-1025, a XTS-100 and a Toyota Avensis Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the MTZ (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
