On Thursday, 15 February 2018, in the evening at 17:40, in Kaunas, on Rasytės street near No. 10A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Smart. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
