On Friday, 2 March 2018, at night at around 0:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 137.60), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
