On Friday, 27 April 2018, in the evening at 18:10, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl., at the junction with Jotvingių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and a Volkswagen Passat Variant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
