On Tuesday, 19 February 2019, in the evening at 18:45, in Kaunas, on Jotvingių street, at the junction with Islandijos pl., on a bridge, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 323 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
