On Friday, 1 June 2018, in the afternoon at 12:10, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 100.33), on a bridge, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford, a Boro -, a Volkswagen Passat, a Toyota Avensis, an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4 and a Honda FR-V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Ford (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
