On Saturday, 4 August 2018, at night at 1:40, in Šilutės district municipality, Gaidelių village, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 179.44), a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
