On Sunday, 5 August 2018, in the afternoon at 13:25, in Kaunas, on Birželio 23-iosios street, at the junction with Partizanų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki GSX 600, an Audi A8 and an Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo 156 Sportwagon. One person was injured — a 36-year-old passenger of the Suzuki (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Suzuki, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober.
