On Monday, 20 August 2018, in the evening at 19:40, in Marijampolės municipality, on R. Juknevičiaus street near No. 94, a collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Sintra and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
