On Saturday, 25 August 2018, in the evening at 18:30, in Vilnius, on Švitrigailos street, at the junction with Panerių street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Honda NT 650 V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
