On Tuesday, 2 October 2018, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Nuokalnės street, at the junction with Utenos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Solaris, a Volkswagen Golf, a Solaris Urbino 12 and a Nissan X-Trail. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Solaris (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
