On Tuesday, 23 October 2018, in the morning at 9:50, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 295.20), a BMW 525 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
